ciao ragazzi, ho un portatile toshiba con scheda wireless [AirConn] INPROCOMM IPN 2220 Wireless LAN Adapter (rev 01) che la gestione perifireche mi riscontra, ma non lo trovo nelle impostazioni di rete.
ho fato un sudo depmod -a
e poi un dmseg e mi da questo output

Non serve quel log, serve cosa ti risponde lspci dato nel terminale.

Inoltre quando riportate dei log così lunghi usate la funzione "inserisci codice" , altrimenti questi post chilometrici sfasano il forum e chi lo legge :)

grazie ragazzi ho seguito il ultimo post
con ndiswrapper ho inserito il driver ipn2220.inf che ho copiato dalla partizione win
ho inserito nel file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist la riga 'blacklist islsm_pci'
ho riavviato il sistema e ho lanciato 'sudo modprobe ndiswrapper'
ora mi trovo riconoscita la scheda e funzionante.

scusate , potete rispiegare anche a me che sono un neofita come avete fatto a fargli riconoscere la scheda wireless? Io ho una scheda U.S. Robotics Wireless MAXg....

con ndiswrapper ho inserito il driver di windows per intendrtci quello .inf che puoi scaricare o copiare dal disco installazione
ho inserito nel file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist la riga 'blacklist islsm_pci'
ho riavviato il sistema e ho lanciato 'sudo modprobe ndiswrapper'
ora la scheda dovrebbe funzionare.

sul link che mi hai dato mi pare si parli di questo....ma la mia scheda non è USB..

scusate se riesumo questo topic vekkio.. ma avrei delle domande da fare a riguardo...

ho provato a seguire x filo e x segno ciò che c'è scritto nella guida ma ho dei problemi con l'installazzione dei pacchetti! quando vado x digitare la stringa, dopo aver dato invio nn riesce a trovare i pacchetti...

inoltre nella guida dice di mettere i pacchetti nella cartella /home, ma mi dice che nn ho l'accesso! anche se ,ovviamente, entro come amministratore... nn so cosa fare...

sono riuscito ad installare i driver x la skeda wireless (usando ndiswrapper e usando i driver di winxp). ora pero c'è un problema.. nn si connette! il segnale rimane bassissimo e nn riesce a trovare la connessione.. come mai?? cosa faccio ora? :(

mi quoto da solo XD

RISOLTO! in pratica avevo questo problema perche nelle impostazioni di rete (amministratore --> rete) c'è impostato come PASSWORD TYPE: exadecimal... mettendo su PLAIN (ascii), ho risolto!!

ho provato a fare quanto dici, ma ndiswrapper pare non voler collaborare...non ci sono schede wireless installate :( ho pure provato con il tool grafico ma nisba
