[Grub] Ubuntu 10.04 LTS problema con l'avvio

Ho installato su di un PC Asus ubuntu 10.04 LTS, lo ha installato senza problemi, ma all'avvio (particolarmente lento, ma forse dipende dal PC che non è proprio in ottime condizioni)
Appare quanto segue:

a questo punto solo se digito Return (ma a volte nemmeno quello funge, devo digitare exit o provare più volte con Return) a quel punto si avvia e l'ambiente è utilizzabile normalmente, poi ad ogni riavvio risuccede il tutto  >:( Come fare a disfarsi di questo errore in avvio?

Puoi guardare in /etc/fstab come viene montato il disco con uuid=09b58aef-5d59-405f-9o63-1ec4f62d1b17 ?
Hai provato a fermare l'avvio (shift all'avvio se hai grub2), entrare in un terminale e fare un check del disco?
Controlla anche lo stato smart del disco quando hai ubuntu caricato.

Quando fa exit il sistema si carica: non sarà che l'uuid è sbagliato?
Per questo chiedevo di guardare ftab.

Strano, effetivamente l'uuid in fstab quella dell'errore di grub sono diversi, ma così dovrebbe mai partire...

La mia impressione è che quando fa exit esce da grub e prova a caricare dalla partizione root dove l'fstab ha gli uuid corretti.
Se è così, e si vede giustamente con sudo blkid, allora mi pare che vada ripristinato grub.

Come vedi nn c'è una partizione con uuid=09b58aef-5d59-405f-9o63-1ec4f62d1b17 ma è li che grub cerca di avviare il sistema, la cerca, l'aspetta (e farlo aspettare di più nn serve xchè nn c'è quella partizione...), e alla fine si arrende e si ferma li...
Per ripristinare la situazione di certo ci sono vari modi, anche andare a cambiare la configurazione a mano.
Io ho messo da poco la 10.04 e certo qualcun'altro è più indicato di me per consigliarti il modo migliore.
Ti consiglio di aspettare qualche altra opinione per nn rischiare di fare casino.
Te cmq devi aver fatto qualcosa di strano. Non per brontolare, ma per capire cosa è successo: hai messo/levato dischi, spostato da un canale all'altro...?

Ma una partizione con quell'uuid da qualche parte c'è o c'era almeno al momento della configurazione di grub. Un disco esterno o una chiavetta usb? Una partizione cancellata?
Aspettiamo altri xchè a parte questo ti funziona tutto perciò nn rischiamo.
Se poi nn ci sono altri suggerimenti vedo di aiutarti.
