ubuntu 10.4 wlan scomparsa e mutata in eth1

Ho installato Wicd tramite synaptic e sempre tramite synaptic ho disistallato Network Manager.
Per scrupolo ho dato lspci

Ma teoricamente che scheda è?

È una vecchia (come il Notebook Dell 610 che la ospita) scheda interna mini pci appunto, con l'indicazione Lucent Technologies WCND.
In effetti il nome Lucent figura sul listato.
