Sensibilità touchpad hp pavilion

Salve..
ho un piccolo problema...
Con ubuntu, il click sul touchpad non è molto sensibile..
usando windows mi sono accorto che basta sfiorare il touchpad per eseguire un click, mentre con ubuntu a volte mi tocca addirittura usare il pulsante del touch per eseguire un click da quanto è poco sensibile..
Ho un hp dm1020-sl.
è possibile risolvere?
Se si come?
Vorrei precisare che il pc è nuovo, e che con win non mi da questo tipo di problema..
Dipende dal driver che in win è presente e in ubuntu no?  dalle impostazioni del pad?

Sistema->Preferenze-Mouse.
Se ad ogni sasso, dovessimo dare un calcio, a fine giornata, ci ritireremmo con il piede rotto!

è possibile vedere quale driver sto usando?
Con windows ho visto che il suo driver è synaptic... su ubuntu come potrei fare?
è una cosa molto fastidiosa questa del touch...

Leggi tutto il file xorg.0.log, ci dovrebbe essere un riferimento.

Questo sembra il touchpad, ma lo vede come mouse, ecco perché.  Hai anche un mouse logitech  USB che viene visto bene.
