Durante un aggiornamento mi è uscito fuori l'errore di seguito riportato:

Si è verificato un problema irrisolvibile durante l'inizializzazione delle informazioni del pacchetto.

Segnalare questo bug per il pacchetto «update-manager» e includere il seguente messaggio d'errore:

'E:La riga 54 nel file /etc/apt/sources.list non è corretta (dist), E:Impossibile leggere l'elenco dei sorgenti.'

Ciao a tutti.

Sono iscritto da poco al forum e ho un problema. Ho provato ad installare sul mio Ubuntu 10.10 netbook la versione di Firefox Namoroka, ma temo di aver fatto un danno.

subito dopo aver provato ad installarlo (senza riuscirci), mi è uscito questo messaggio:

"Si è verificato un problema irrisolvibile durante l'inizializzazione delle informazioni del pacchetto.

'E:Tipo "sudo" non riconosciuto alla riga 1 nel file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/firefox-stable.list' "

ed ovviamente ora non mi fa fare alcun aggiornamento nè usare il software centre senza prima aver risolto il problema. Premetto che ho provato a disinstallare il firefox che era installato di default (e ci sono riuscito), ma la segnalazione mi rimane, anche dopo diversi riavvii.

Ho provato a seguire le istruzioni che hai dato qui sotto per ottenere la lista di source list e mi ha  dato quanto segue:

se può essere utile vi dico che qualche giorno fa ho installato e disinstallato amsn e emesene....ve lo dico perchè mi pare di aver capito che avete fatto cancellare 2 righe dal file che riguardavano emesene...

Come ha detto Diabolik62, il problema è dovuto al fatto che i repository di gutsy sono stati spostati in quanto questo rilascio è oramai non più supportato.

Dai

Ad ogni modo, stai utilizzando un rilascio di ubuntu molto vecchio, ti conviene installarne uno più recente e soprattutto supportato.
