xubuntu chiude sessione e perdo tutti i lavori in sospeso

xubuntu 10.10 su portatile

Dopo un periodo di inattività di qualche minuto, xubuntu esce dalla sessione e quando rientro ho perso tutti i lavori che avevo in sospeso. >:(

provo a salvare sempre prima di allontanarmi, ma su lavori di grafica o video è un po impegnativo....

Ho pensato si trattasse di opzioni di risparmio energetico, ma impostando MAI su tutte le funzioni di risparmio e addormentamento comunque non influisce sul mio problema.

vai in  Sistema-amministrazione-visualizzatore file di registro, clicca su ogni voce a sinistra e scorri il file che si apre sulla destra fino in fondo in modo da visualizzare gli eventi più recenti, vedi se trovi qualche messaggio che possa indicare errori di sistema e riportalo sul forum, inoltre guarda anche nel file nascosto

/home/utente/.Xsession-errors

da Sistema non trovo nessuna voce Amministrazione cui accedere al visualizzatore file di registro

scusa, dimenticavo che usi xubuntu, prova a cercare nel menù e dovresti trovare un visualizzatore file di registro

nel file sembra ci siano problemi relativi al tema e ai widget di xfce4 ma non trovo niente di preciso, comunque prova a creare un nuovo utente con permessi di amministratore e nome diverso e prova ad usarlo senza fare modifiche, può darsi che si risolva
