Ormai ho cercato in lungo e in largo, ma ancora non ho trovato una soluzione, quindi chiedo a voi.
Allora, possiedo una tavoletta grafica Trust TB-6300 ( così scritto nel retro di questa ) e riconosciuta dal comando terminale " ls /dev/input/by-id/ " come Tablet WP8060U.
Ho svolto parte del procedimento nella guida che si trova in rete https://help.ubuntu.com/community/TabletSetupWizardpen
Istallando il driver all'inizio per poi fermarmi subito, in quanto la tavoletta da già segni di vita.
La penna infatti si muove alla perfezione, sensibile al tocco, i pulsanti vanno, tutto perfetto.
Il punto negativo è il mouse: i due pulsanti vanno, quello è ok, ma non si sposta di una virgola.
Sempre nella guida riportata sopra, alal fine, fra i problemi più comuni c'è proprio questo difetto che viene risolto con una modifica nel file .xorg nella sezione " imputdevice". Ho fatto, riavviato il computer ma sfortunatamente l'effetto continua a essere quello.
EDIT: Sto tentando i tutti i modi e provando a muovere penna e mouse ho scoperto una cosa: quando appoggio il mouse sulla tavoletta il cursore si sposta proprio nella zona dello schermo rispettiva ( es. mouse a destra, cursore a destra dello schermo ). Penso sia un buon segno, ne riconosce la posizione, anche se muovendo poi il mouse non si sposta.
Avete idee? Non credo ci voglia molto, la penna risponde perfettamente ma il mouse no.
P.S ho scritto che mi sono interotto subito dopo aver istallato i driver. La procedura intera, quale configurazione e calibrazione l'ho già fatta in passato ma l'effetto è sempre tale quale.

Confrontandolo con l'how-to che hai indicato tu, la prima cosa che mi salta all'occhio è che in Xorg.conf hai indicato WP8060U, mentre prima avevi detto che era riconosciuta come W8060U.
Poi ci sarebbero altre differenze nel file 70-wizardpen (in particolare, le righe MatchDevicePath), ma io proverei innanzitutto a cambiare quello.

Intanto puoi sempre tornare alla situazione precedente rimettendo tutto com'era prima, quindi non disperare.
Ma la tua non è Trust? MatchVendor dovrebbe contenere , tra le opzioni, Trust. Oppure lo puoi commentare (tanto prima non c'era e funzionava).
Inoltre, sei sicuro che l'Identifier sia corretto? Hai controllato in Xorg.0.log?

ciao, ho il tuo stesso problema, solo che mouse e penna restano fissi nell'angolo in alto a sinistra dello schermo e non c'è verso di farli muovere. i tasti rispondono correttamente. sei riuscito per caso a risolvere la faccenda?
