[Install] non si apre più "ubuntu software center" [Risolto]

Salve a tutti, è la prima volta che scrivo su questo blog in quanto sono un neofita di ubuntu ma particolarmente attratto dallo spirito con cui è stato sviluppato e dalle persone chei si dedicano gratuitamente alla comunità per cui ieri ho deciso di installarlo e provare a cimentarmi anche se non sono esperto. E' andato tutto bene e sono soddisfattissimo dell'ambiente, ma da quando ho provato a fare l'aggiornamento di open office non solo non mi è riuscito dandomi un errore ma l'"ubuntu software center" non si apre più.
potete aiutarmi per favore? Grazie.

Apri un terminale e dai i comandi

ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

e posta le risposte che ti vengono date utilizzando il tag code, icona del cancelletto # che trovi sopra alle faccine quando scrivi un post.

C'è un errore nel sources.list, però non hai dato bene i comandi suggeriti.
Fai così, dai da terminale:

gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

copia il contenuto del file che ti si apre ed incollalo qui, sempre usando il tag code.

GRAZIE sei un grande....ma perche è successo? in cosa ho sbagliato nell'installazione?
se volessi aggiornare OpenOffice o installare altri programmi, come mi devo comportare?

Hai aggiunto un repository sbagliato (la linea che hai cancellato).
Per installare programmi puoi farlo semplicemente da ubuntu software center.
Per aggiornare openoffice dovresti trovare il repository di openoffice ed aggiungerlo, però dalla prossima versione di ubuntu sarà preinstallato libreoffice (progetto staccatosi da openoffice). Per averlo vai in Applicazioni --> Ubuntu software center --> modifica --> Sorgenti software --> Altro software --> Aggiungi
e copia ed incolla nello spazio:

ppa:libreoffice/ppa

Poi chiudi dopo qualche secondo cerca libreoffice in ubuntu software center.
