USB Adapter Wireless 802.11b/g

Ciao, ho installato Ubuntu, ma purtroppo non mi riconosce l'USB Adapter Wireless 802.11b/g :-[ E siccome mi serve assolutamente per connettermi a Internet, come posso fare??? Grazie a tutti ;)

Che marca/modello è il tuo usb-adapter? Quello che dici è troppo generico per arrivare a capire il driver giusto da installare.
In ogni caso, posta se puoi i risultati dei seguenti comandi dati sul terminale:
- lsusb (a chiavetta inserita)
- dmesg (subito dopo aver staccato e riattaccato la chiavetta)
- ifconfig

Un po' di pazienza, inanzitutto...
dalle mie ricerche, risulta che la tua chiavetta è una d-link g132 e monta un chipset atheros AR5005UG.
Nel forum internazionale di ubuntu, (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=286530) sono riusciti a farla funzionare con ndiswrapper, una sorta di emulatore che ti permette di usare i drivers per windows.
Se cerchi nel forum info su ndiswrapper, non ti dovrebbe essere difficile installarlo.
Comunque si trova già nei repository di ubuntu, basta un

sudo apt-get install ndiswrapper
Dal tuo log leggo pero' che dovresti aver già installato una versione di ndiswrapper. Prova solo a configurarlo con i comandi

sudo ndiswrapper -i /path/del/driver/di/windows.inf
a questo punto verifica il funzionamento digitando
ndiswrapper -l
l'output dovrebbe essere simile a questo

ci dovessi mettere il VERO percorso del driver .inf di windows per la tua chiavetta........

In pratica, fai una cartella e mettici dentro il file con estensione .inf e quello .sys.
poi nel path ci metti il percorso COMPLETO del file inf...

Ma come devo impostare il percorso??? Cioè, dovrei fare così: sudo ndiswrapper -i /Matteo/home/desktop/windows.inf oppure sudo ndiswrapper -i /FileSystem/Matteo/Home/Desktop/windows.inf??? Aspetto una vostra risposta e poi posto i risultati, ma questa cosa la devo fare sia per il file .inf che per il file .sys???

lo devi fare solo per il file .inf.
il percorso completo sarebbe del tipo
/home/Matteo/Desktop/driver.inf

Ps
il file .sys deve essere nella stessa cartella del .inf.

Ammesso che il tuo file .inf si trovi sul desktop.
