Bug Mysql su Ubuntu Edgy - Soluzione

Ciao a tutti...
La mia non è una richiesta di aiuto, ma una semplice segnalazione che spero possa aiutare chi dovesse incappare in questo bug.
Dopo aver installato con successo lampp sulla mia Edgy ed averlo avviato con sudo /opt/lampp/lampp start ho ricevuto la seguente risposta:

Starte XAMPP fuer Linux 1.5.4a...
XAMPP: Starte Apache mit SSL (und PHP5)...
XAMPP: Starte MySQL...
/opt/lampp/bin/mysql.server: 84: source: not found
XAMPP: Starte ProFTPD...
XAMPP fuer Linux gestartet.
kleinweby@kleinweby-laptop:~/Desktop$ /opt/lampp/bin/mysql.server: 334: log_success_msg: not found

Si tratta di un errore dovuto al fatto che lo script di avvio mysql.server richiama alcune funzioni presenti in /lib/lsb/init-functions mediante il ''source command''; nella edgy, /bin/sh è un link simbolico alla shell /bin/dash che non supporta il suddetto ''comando''.

Quando starto XAMPP ho il seguente errore
