Ciao a tutti!
Apro questa discussione poichè, nonostante i miei sforzi, non ho trovato dei driver per ubuntu per il mio controller Hercules Dj 4 set, mentre per altri controller tipo la rmx o mk3 ci sono. Mi chiedo perchè non ci siano per la mia (troppo nuova?) e se ci sia una soluzione. Devo per forza usarla perchè mi serve per lavoro, altrimenti saro' costretto a usare il dual boot, cosa che mi da fastidio perchè preferisco di gran lunga ubuntu anche se sono ancora inesperto.

Sono riuscito a individuare la tua dj consolle:
il problema è che googlando non trovi niente di niente 
Potresti tentare di utilizzarlo soltanto su windows o magari in virtualbox su ubuntu (se regge).
In alternativa puoi collaborare con il team esistente per far sì che possano essere sviluppati i driver per il tuo dispositivo così come avviene per gli altri modelli di consolle della hercules. Prova a contattare quelli di Mixxx che magari ti danno una dritta per conoscere quelli che sviluppano i driver per linux per queste consolle

Comunque puoi anche contattare il team e segnalare che questa periferica non è ancora supportata. Puoi chiedere di sviluppare i driver per la tua consolle (che è quella di tanti altri). In questo modo un giorno potresti utlizzarla diettamente su ubuntu (yes)
Se nel mondo open non si collaborasse l'uno con l'altro segnalando le criticità non sarebbe stato fatto nulla
