Ciao ragazzi mi affido alla vostra professionalità come sempre. Premesse:

- Iphone 3g (con jailbreak - OS 4.2.1  - 8 Giga) visto dal sistema (almeno presumo) perchè il comando ideviceinfo mi restituisce tutti i dati;
- le librerie necessarie dovrebbero essere installate;
- Uso Ubuntu 10.04.

Problema: non vedo l'icona dell'iphone, cioè il dispositivo seppur riconosciuto non appare montato.

Ho provato la seguente procedura ma senza successo:



aggiungi i ppa ai tuoi repository, in pratica da terminale:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pmcenery/ppa

poi aggiorna i pacchetti, da terminale:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

se ancora non funziona, installare libimobiledevice-utils
da terminale:

sudo apt-get install libimobiledevice-utils

eseguire da terminale:

idevicepair unpair
idevicepair pair
idevicepair validate

Che cosa provare ancora?

Se vai in sistema>computer (o file system) non vedi l'icona dell'iphone? Se la vedi è montato, ti manca solo l'icona sul desktop.

Quando ti viene chiesto di postare il risultato di comandi da terminale (di solito molto lunghi) devi fare sempre così: copia il testo del terminale e incollalo qui, poi selezionalo tutto e premi sul simbolo del # che trovi qui in alto, sopra le faccine. Quello è "mettere tra i code/tag" e serve per rendere leggibile qualcosa che potrebbe risultare molto lungo.  ;) Te li sistemo io, ma dalla prossima volta fai come detto sopra, grazie. :)

Ho letto su un forum inglese che avrei dovuto assicurarmi che nella cartella /usr/local/lib non ci fossero files "libemobi", così ho provveduto a cancellare quelli presenti nella cartella. Senza risultato alcuno.

Nessuno che sappia aprirmi uno spiraglio o che abbia avuto lo stesso problema?
Vorrei almeno sapere se il fatto che il comando "ideviceinfo" restituisca qualcosa possa significare che comunque l'iphone sia riconosciuto dal sistema, in qualche modo letto, montato. Grazie.

E a cosa dovrebbero servire quei repository? Consiglio personale: smetti di smanettare prima di fare casini e aspetta qualcuno che sappia come fare ;) Nel frattempo fai una ricerca nel forum, ci sono molto post che trattano lo stesso argomento (a volte, si risolve prima con la ricerca perchè da risultati subito verificabili, invece che aspettare che qualcuno che sa come risolvere veda il tuo post e ti risponda).
