RISOLTO: ubuntu 11.10 non funziona più canon lbp 2900 non installa più cndrvcups

Io insisto ormai da 3 anni e mezzo, questa stampante su ubuntu NON FUNZIONERA' MAI BENE. Toglieteci ogni speranza, appena risolvono il problema ad ogni aggiornamento di kernel questo puntualmente si ripresenta e le vecchi procedure non vanno più bene. So perfettamente quello che dico. Trovo irritante ogni sei mesi dover risistemare tutto. Andate in dual boot ed utilizzatela con Windows, anche perché pur funzionando da parecchi problemi e se avete fretta di stampare non potete stare lì a digitare da terminale. Con Mandriva andava che una meraviglia (disro 2010), con Fedora neanche a parlarne.

ho formattato e messo la 10.04 dove funziona magnificamente.
ci rivediamo quando c'è la 12.04..! se non resto alla 10.04 a vita.
