Ciao amici,

sto provando con ubuntu 11.10 ma niente, non mi va

ho fatto così
da terminale

sudo gedit /etc/udev/rules.d/40-permissions.rules
mi ha aperto un file completaente vuoto e io ho aggiunto queste tre righe

KERNEL=="raw1394", GROUP="disk", MODE="0666"
KERNEL=="dv1394*", GROUP="video", MODE="0666"
KERNEL=="video1394*", GROUP="video", MODE="0666"

poi da terminale
sudo gedit /etc/modules

mi ha aperto un file con poche righe e sotto ho inserito queste tre righe

raw1394
video1394
dv1394

se provo a caricare questi tre moduli
$ sudo modeprobe raw1394
$ sudo modeprobe video1394
$ sudo modeprobe dv1394

la risposta da terminale è negativa
modeprobe: command not found

se infatti avvio l'installazione di Kdenlive mi rileva solo la webcam e non la telecamera.

come posso risolvere?

La porta firewire viene rilevata in generale dal sistema?  ;)

si infatti una cosa strana

in questo portatile ho VirtualBox con installato windows XP e neanche in windows vedo la firewire

strano però, prima di formattare tutto, cioe ieri, funzionava tutto alla grande.

Su questo pc usavo windows vista che ho eliminato per continuo stress

Ho seguito la discussione per collegare e "vedere" la mia Sony DCR-HC53E(già fatto in anni precedenti..ma la memoria..), ebbene all'inizio non mi riusciva, stavo per sclerare quando mi sono accorto che il connettore del cavo sulla camera(connessione meccanicamente piuttosto precaria) non era ben infilato. Messo a posto quello, tutto ok con Kino. Kdenlive purtroppo non mi si avvia, mi dice: Errore fatale:
