[Install] 11.10: errore durante aggiornamento

ho installato 11.10, incontrando qualche problemino con la webcam che ho comunque risolto. Oggi però, durante un aggiornamento, che poi è proseguito senza apparenti inghippi, è uscito questo messaggio:
Errore di GConf: Impossibile contattare il server di configurazione: Errore D-BUS: Method "Set" with signature "s(ib)" on interface "org.gnome.GConf.Database" doesn't exist
cosa significa?

è un errore nella configurazione di un pacchetto che hai installato, ignoralo se non ti da problemi

E inoltre sources.list non c'entra nulla dato che il server a cui non si connette è D-Bus e non quello degli aggiornamenti

Infatti, come dicevo, l'ho ignorato e il tutto è proseguito senza problemi, ma mi piacerebbe comunque capirne il motivo

il pacchetto incriminato sembra essere questo  hamster-applet vedi se è installato comunque ripeto non c'è niente di preoccupante, quello che non va te lo indica il messaggio d'errore

ciao, oggi ho avuto lo stesso errore. il pacchetto indicato nn è installato nemmeno sul mio pc. hai risolto qualcosa?
