Capire il log di GSmartControl

Ciau ^^ come da titolo vorrei comprendere meglio il log creato dal performad-test esteso di GSmartControl, infatti in quello corto sembrava tutto ok, come da lettura dei dati diretti smart (oltre i 13 settori ricollocati), ma facendo il test lungo il risultato sembra negativo, lo è? e quanto?

Il test è fatto su un notebook di 10 anni con Xubuntu 10.10 lo fatto perchè alcuni file scaricati dal web erano corrotti, ma non so se è dovuto all'HD o connessione.

Se fosse a causa dell'HD cosa mi consigliate... di utilizzare un tool per riparare le falle o meglio fare un formattazione "lenta" o l'HD è irrecuperabile?

Salve,
riapro la discussione per chiedere un aiuto per la comprensione del log di GSmartControl.
Dopo alcuni problemi di perdita dati ed errori di sistema, mi e' venuto il dubbio che l'hard disk possa essere rovinato.
Ho letto la guida su linuxjournal e ci sono errori nella sezione 4 del log. Il problema e' che il test si interrompe al 10% a causa di un errore di lettura.
Posso considerare l'hard disk andato?

Your disk has one or more unreadable sectors. This does NOT mean that the disk is failing, but it has lost some information on those sectors. Run an extended self test:
