UBUNTU 11.10 NON SI AGGIORNA PIU'

Dopo aver aggiornato con update manager da ubunto 11.04 a 11.10 non riesco più ad aggiornare il sistema operativo ne da linea di comando ne da synaptic.
L' errore evidenziato è:

io proverei a rimuoverlo:
sudo apt-get remove --purge install-info
[ho provato a dare il comando e non si porta via nulla di vitale]
per poi reinstallarlo:
sudo apt-get install install-info

Magari prima di reinstallarlo dai:
sudo apt-get update
e
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Sembrava andare tutto bene:
-sudo apt-get remove --purge install-info-->ok
-sudo apt-get update -->ok
-sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -->ok

ma nel reistallarlo con

- sudo apt-get install install-info
l' errore permane.......

allora fai così:

sudo apt-get remove --purge install-info

sudo apt-get clean

sudo apt-get install install-info

se ancora non va, posta l'output del comando: sudo apt-get update

facciamo ancora un tentativo:

sudo apt-get remove --purge install-info

poi sudo apt-get clean

poi dai: gksu software-properties-gtk

nella prima schermata cambi server da cui prendere i pacchetti e scegli, tra quelli italiani, o garr o fastbull.

dopodichè

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

quindi scrivi:

ls /var/lib/dpkg/info/install-info*


e mi copi cosa esce. se invece non esce niente:

sudo apt-get install install-info

Cmq mi sono accorto che disinstallandi install-info e facendo partire update manager semmbra aggiornare correttamente anche se dubito che si possa fare a meno di install-info.....

vedi se ti risulta in status,

Codice: Seleziona tutto

sudo nano /var/lib/dpkg/status
una volta aperto cerca premendo ctrl + w  install-info, se c'è cancella la sezione relativa a quel pacchetto, poi premi ctrl + x poi y (per salvare e uscire) controlla poi con

Codice: Seleziona tutto

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
se fila tutto liscio


Ps se è un problema recente (tipo di oggi) forse risolvi anche con sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/status.old /var/lib/dpkg/status
