[Wireless] aiuto wifi non piu' rilevata la chiavetta

ho aggiornato il sistema alle 11.10 e tanto per cambiare ho problemi con la chiavetta wireless

mi connetto con questo
modello della Digicom USB WAVE 300C

e dopo il riavvio non me la rileva piu.

Uhm ... brutte notizie temo ... da una veloce ricerca mi sa che è un problema di driver per il kernel 3.x.

Prova a guardare tu su Internet usando l'ID del device ( 148f:3072 ). Sul sito della Ralink c'è una versione vecchia di driver. Il codice sembrerebbe essere equivalente a RT2870.

Anche qui c'è qualcosa ma vecchio

Dagli outputs che hai postato non c'è traccia del modulo driver per la tua chiavetta.

Segui questa discussione, è per Ubuntu 11.04, va bene anche per Ubuntu 11.10:

hai un consiglio da darmi per una chiavetta che non abbia problemi ad ogni aggiornamento di versione?

Io uso una D-Link DWL-G122 con chipset Ralink RT73 H/W: C1 F/W: 3.30(E); l'ho provata dalla versione di Ubuntu 8.04 alla 11.10 e con altre distro Linux, funziona "Out of the box", non devo installare alcun pacchetto driver; l'inserisco, seleziono al rete wireless, inserisco la password e sono già connesso ad Internet.

Nella confezione della D-Link c'è il logo del Pinguino colla scritta Linux support; il consiglio che posso darti è di controllare nella confezione che ci sia scritto supportata da Linux oppure oltre Windows XP,Vista,7, Mac OS X, Linux; così vai sul sicuro.
