[Supporto] tanti (troppi) processi in esecuzione

oggi guardavo il mio monitor di sistema e non riuscivo a spiegarmi la "lentezza" generale del mio ubuntu
secondo voi non ci sono troppi programmi in esecuzione? eventualmente come faccio a smaltire?

per visualizzare i processi che ti succhiano più memoria!
Per precisione che intendi per lento?

ecco


lento nel senso scattoso, come apro due o tre programmi insieme rallenta paurosamente (spesso fino a bloccarsi, o comunque tende a funzionare quasi a scatti, cosa che prima con il p4 succedeva raramente. Con questo upgrade +ram 2gb +process dual core 2.80ghz è strano che le prestazioni siano peggiorate!

Anche top, il risultato che devi postare devi generarlo in un momento in cui ti accorgi della lentezza del sistema.
Quella schermata di top che hai postato si riferisce a uno di quei momenti? A me personalmente sembra tutto nella norma! Comunque quando lanci top puoi digitare "M" e "P" per visualizzare rispettivamente i programmi che usano più memoria e quelli che usano più processore.

per ora di momenti particolarmente scattosi non ce ne sono, appena il pc mi si incricca di nuovo (ho notato che se non è aperto amule tende a non succedere!) posto un log

Beh anche perché sia top che free non mostrano nulla di anomalo, anzi! C'è poca memoria allocata in cache, ma forse hai dato il comando free poco dopo l'avvio del sistema, ma non è un gran problema.
Aspetta che capiti un momento in cui il pc va a scatti e posta i risultati sia di free -m che di top.
