[Server] Apache e Virtual Host

Ciao a tutti, ho un problema con Apache e i Virtual Host

ho provato a mettere in atto la guida a questo link http://www.azns.it/2011/03/08/siti-apac ... scrittura/ pare funzionare tutto a parte il virtual host.
Già, perché quando richiedo la pagina mi viene un bel 404! Guardando nei log di apache trovo che il server web cerca comunque la pagina in /var/www  :'(.

Dove sbaglio? Se volete vi posto il contenuto del file relativo al Virtual Host.

beh nel post leggermete sopra al tuo siamo ci sono altri tre poveracci che stanno uscendo pazzi con apache e fra questi uno sono io.
se vuoi posta la configurazione che per quanto posso vediamo se riesco a darti una mano

Comunque volevo chiederti, come mai pensi sia un problema di permessi? Frugando nei log di Apache trovo che il server web punta alla directory

/var/www/alphard

Non credi possa essere qualche problema di path o cose simili?  ::)

io pensavo che era un problema di permessi ma pare di no... se posti i log di apache forse qualcuno ti puo aiutare  :-\
