Ho installato imagemagick in ubuntu 10.04.
Ho eseguito i comandi in modo corretto e non ci sono stati problemi.
Ho riavviato ma non trovo imagemagick in applicazioni>grafica.
Da dove lancio imagemagick?

Imagemagick è un programma utilizzabile da linea di comando (ovvero da terminale). Se vuoi un'interfaccia grafica, comunque, sempre da terminale (attivabile con la combinazione tasti Alt+Ctrl+T), digita:

Se scrivo display non accade nulla e non so dove è installato imagemagick o forse ogni volta devo compilarlo installarlo e poi scrivere display?
MI pare troppo complesso.

Sicuro di avere installato correttamente Imagemagick?
Apri il Gestore Pacchetti (credo tu lo abbia sulla versione 10.04) e verifica se il pacchetto è stato installato a dovere.

Guarda, non sono un tecnico e ne capisco poco di processi a terminale, però sono andato a spulciare tra i miei pacchetti (quelli installati, ovviamente) e ne ho individuati alcuni che mi sembrano strettamente connessi con Imagemagick. I pacchetti sono:

libmagick++3, perlmagick, libmagickwand3, libmagickcore3.

Magari tra questi ce n'è uno che consente l'apertura dell'interfaccia grafica con il mago. Prova a vedere se sono presenti sul tuo sistema operativo e se non li hai installali. Tieni conto che i miei ragionamenti sono connessi alla versione Ubuntu 11.04. Altre strade non so indicartene... Ciao.
