Possibilità di scelta del solo Unity 2d

Salve avevo installato cinnamon per provarlo ma tra tutte le opzioni Gnome cinnamon Unity e Unity 2d l'unica utilizzabile è Unity 2d con le altre il sistema si avvia ma non mi da nessuna barra o niente di niente e mi da una segnalazione di errore che viene inviata cosicchè sono costretto a spegnerlo e utilizzare Unity 2d . Qualcuno può aiutarmi a poter utilizzare anche gli altri gestori grafici?

Per installare cinnamon che repository hai usato? Devi usare questo: https://launchpad.net/~gwendal-lebihan- ... mon-stable perchè se usi il daily di cinnamon a me non funzionava. Per unity e gnome posso solo dirti che forse il il sistema non supporta l'accelerazione 3d. Prova a lanciare questo comando nel terminale: /usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p ti dovrebbe dare tutti yes altrimenti c'è poco da fare, non puoi avere quei desktop. Un'altra cosa, prova a dare nel terminale un ity --reset. Aspetta un po' che si sistemi. Non ti preoccupare se ti da una marea di errori. Riavvia la sezione e prova ad entrare con unity se ci riesci. Puoi provare anche ad installare il pacchetto gnome-session-fallback e selezionare al login gnome classic.

Il 3d è supportato. Allora non ti rimane che dare nel terminale unity --reset questo ti "dovrebbe" sistemare unity. Altro modo non lo conosco. Una volta che ha finito termina la sessione e ri loggati in unity. La cosa strana è che non riesci a loggarti con cinnamon e con gnome. Per gnome non ho idea perchè non funzioni: hai provato a toglierlo ed a reinstallarlo di nuovo? Per cinnamon hai usato i repo giusti?

Io del log di xorg ci faccio ben poco. A parte il fatto che mi sembra di capire che usi il kernel pae. Ma il tuo processore non supporta i 64 bit? Poi mi sembra di aver visto che usi i driver nouveau. Prova a vedere se cisono altri driver per la tua scheda Nvidia oltre a quelli open.

Sto cercando di installare i 96 ma mi dice che ci sono dipendenze irrisoltee non me li fa installare....
