problema schede sd

ciao a tutti ho dei problemi con la scrittura su schede
il mio pc è un hp pavillion dv6000
ubuntu 11.10
kernel 3.0.0-19
gnome 3.2.1

ora anche prima avevo problemi dal lettore interno non riuscivo a scrivere ma riuscivo a leggere, dopo mille peripezie decido di usare un lettore esterno usb e finalmente posso scrivere, ora neanche col lettore esterno riesco a scrivere niente, ovviamente ho provato con più schede che non sono lockate e che uso abitualmente per la fotocamera o il telefono,

a me pare non la veda proprio da usb

prova ad eseguire il comando da terminale, ad esempio apri nautilus da terminale e prosegui con il tentativo di scrittura su sd, poi chiudi nautilus (la finestra) e posta l'output del terminale qui... potrebbe trattarsi del supporto scrittura su ntfs che dovresti installare

Primo punto: quando posti un output o un commando qui nel forum inseriscilo tra i [ code ] (sta volta l'ho fatto io citando la tua risposta).
Punto secondo: noto che usi root per compiere le operazioni, su Ubuntu si usa sudo commando per eseguire operazioni con privilegi da SuperUtente o Amministratore del sistema, per evitare un sacco di problemi. Ma da Nautilus accedi alla sd card? Da li riesci a creare una cartella?
Punto terzo: prova a dare dal terminale:

sudo apt-get install ntfs-3g

Posta l'output da terminale (ricorda tra i [ code ]). Riavvia il sistema per ulteriore puntigliosità e facci sapere il risultato
