[risolto] errore gestione aggiornamenti

Buonasera a tutti! purtroppo da tempo non riesco più ad aggiornare i pacchetti.
tutte le volte che "verifico" la presenza di aggiornamenti mi dà questo errore

E: Impossibile scaricare alcuni file di indice: saranno ignorati o verranno usati quelli vecchi.

ma anche qui niente. ho cercato altre discussioni con problemi simili e le ho provate un po' tutte, spero in un aiuto più mirato! ho anche provato a ignorare tutto e installare prima ubuntu 12.10 poi 13.04 ma non parte l'installazione.

Ciao, Natty (11.04) non è più supportata esegui l'aggiornamento a una nuova versione.

grazie! però non so come fare. Dalla dicitura "aggiorna software" mi dà lo stesso errore. ho scaricato la nuova versione, messa su usb e avviato il computer cliccando F12 e selezionando la usb ma mi si accende come sempre, senza lanciare l'installazione. qualcuno sa aiutarmi?

ciao e benvenuta, ci sarebbero un paio di cosette da sistemare, il codice va messo dentro i tag code e il titolo si scrive in minuscolo per quanto riguarda la usb cosa hai fatto di preciso? ... ti posto un paio di link utili Installazione/Unetbootin Installazione/UbuntuLiveUsb

corretto, scusami e grazie =)
comunque, ho messo lil file ubuntu-12.10-desktop-i386.iso in una chiavetta usb senza altri file. ho avviato il pc premendo F12 alla prima schermata. e da li selezionato al chiavetta usb invece che l'hard disk etc. Almeno il mio ragazzo fa così e gli funziona. non so se è perchè ho un notebook. comunque mi studio il link.

Se vuoi puoi provare a fare cosi
Apri il file sources.list con il comando nel terminale

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

da li cancella tutto quello che c'è e incollaci questo
