Non ho altro modo di collegarmi in rete, se non attraverso questa scheda wireless.

Sono riuscito, ad associare l'AP tramite iwconfig, in modo forzato inserendo nel comando il MAC del router, nonchè il canale e forzando anche la frequenza della scheda wireless a 54Mb/s (non ho capito perchè di default la mette a 11), ma non ha risolto in alcun modo.
Questo problema è l'unico scoglio tra me ed Ubuntu, vi sarei infinitamente grato se potreste aiutarmi ad aggirarlo.

P.s. nel cd di installazione di ubuntu, non esiste alcun software simile a quello fornito con i driver realtek per winxp, che permetta una connessione un pò più "indolore"?
