[RISOLTO] google earth va in crash

Salve,
ho appena installato google earth da gestore pacchetti e all'apertura dopo pochi secondi va in crash...

se vuoi sposta pure, ma lo stesso identico problema si è verificato su ubuntu 14.04 , anche io ritenevo che si trattasse di un problema di Mint perchè l'ho preso da suoi repository, invece facendo un'altra prova con lo stesso pc nell'altra partizione con Ubuntu 14.04 il problema si è ripresentato nella stessa identica maniera, l'unica differenza è che in questo ultimo caso l'ho scaricato dal sito ufficiale

Dovresti dare più info sulle caratteristiche tecniche del tuo computer per vedere se Google Earth sia compatibile con esso.
Ad ogni modo, comincia a disattivare gli effetti visivi e vedi se va ancora in crash andando in ( Preferenze dell'aspetto - Effetti visivi e seleziona il pulsante di opzione Nessuno ).

il computer è unn lenovo b50-70 intel core i3, su mint c'è compz attivo con qualche effetto, mentre su ubuntu è proprio nativo

sembra che la guida funzioni! testato per qualche ora su Linux Mint non è andato in crash, bisogna seguire attentamente ogni passaggio altrimenti si rischia di non vedere le foto di panoramio e dover rifare tutto da capo.

farò qualche prova anche su Ubuntu

Sulla guida consigliata, preciso che l'ho sia consigliata in un paio di topic sul forum che usata 'brevi manu', sempre con successo anche in sistemi .rpm, l'unica avvertenza e proprio quella di seguirla con pignoleria come scritto da @supercar.
