[Risolto] Qualcomm Atheros AR9285
ho appena installato Ubuntu Mate su un Acer (della mia compagna, non so quale modello specifico e neanche come trovarlo, come faccio?) e la scheda wifi in questione non funziona (in Driver aggiuntivi neanche l'ombra). Quando ho iniziato a installare il sistema l'ha vista e ho provato a collegarmi ma non sono riuscito, poi, una volta riavviato non la vede proprio.
Qualche consiglio?

Fatto sta che che dopo aver iniziato questa discussione ho spento il computer e ho lasciato stare il problema. Siccome mia compagna non si è lamentata della mancanza di collegamento wifi ho avviato il pc e per magia il wifi è funzionante. Io comunque ho dato i comandi, tranne l'ultimo che ho visto un "kill" e con paura di killare il wifi e restare senza internet ho preferito lasciare così com'è.
Devo dire però che ho visto in rete che Atheros non è un gran chè e mi sono ricordato che quando girava Windows mia compagna si lamentava spesso che la connessione era instabile. Quindi se si può migliorare con qualche aggiornamento del driver o qualcosa del genere, e se non vi scoccia vorrei proseguire con la ricerca, se possibile, di una ottimizzazione del wifi. Se devo dare l'ultimo comando, ovvero

Ho seguito le tue indicazioni e anche dato il comando che hai detto, sto provando la connessione e per ora va tutto bene. Metto risolto e se avverto qualche problema mi faccio sentire.
