Beryl o Compiz con la mia scheda video?

Spero di non fare un topic degno di notifica e soprattuto spero che non mi venga ucciso!

Cmq ho un sempron 3200+, radeon x300 series e edgy installato!!

A sto punto quale mi consigliate tra i due..e mi potreste linkare il tutorial + semplice della relativa implementazione=??

non fa molta differenza,ma beryl sembra piu stabile e piu configurabile,io gli ho fatti andare tutti e due sul mio portatile che ha una scheda video integrata quindi sul tuo andranno piu che bene

ragazzi, sono in panico!

ho installato beryl con quella guida!! ma quando arrivo al punto in cui devo digitare: beryl-manager, il pc va nella palla + totale..lentissimo..mouse inutilizzabile e con il mouse tutto il sistema..

ora sono costretto a postare da win  >:( vi prego..aiutatemi a risolvere il problema! rivoglio ubuntu!

Uhm, hai usato i driver fglrx della ati o quelli open source (chiamati radeon)?
Se hai usato i driver fglrx quella guida non va bene e devi seguire http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/XglBeryl
