DVD non guardabili

Lo state confondendo in una maniera assurda lol

Basta far avviare Dischi e vedere se il cd/dvd è elencato, se non è elencato vuol dire che qualcosa non va, e di solito il problema è hardware.

Da Dischi non esce altro che l' HD. Però quando inserisco un dvd ciò che non funziona è la riproduzione dello stesso..

Il lettore dvd non é proprio visto dal sistema.

Quindi è quasi sicuramente un problema hardware.
Per togliersi ogni dubbio, può provare con una live di linux mint. Quest ultima ha già tutto ciò che deve avere per vedere i dvd
oppure mette dentro un cd audio e vediamo se lo legge

non sarebbe male vedere uno screenshot del filemanager,
nel momento in cui è inserito il dvd,
con i files presenti (quelli che poi non vengono aperti da vlc, player, etc.)

DVD still not playable

There's a chance that even after installing libdvdcss, some of your DVD's still won't play. One solution is to play the DVD with a media player that allows you to disable DVD menus. In VLC Media Player for example, when you choose to open a disc, there's an option "No DVD menus". You just have to enable that option before you press Play. Media players that lack support for DVD menus should work as well (e.g. mplayer). Also there's a chance that dvdcss keys generated for the movie are corrupted, the solution is to delete the folder related to the movie that you are trying to play inside the ~./dvdcss folder.

se non va nemmeno così come ultima prova farei un test da live.
se anche così non funziona secondo me ti conviene comprare un lettore nuovo, considerando che ormai costano veramente poco.
