Fin che le applicazioni che ti interessano saranno disponibili ed aggiornate a 32 bit non è proprio necessario, ma corrono voci che firefox, thunderbird, ed anche Libre Office saranno presto abbandonate a 32 bit.Quindi devo in queste condizioni passare per forza a 64 bit o stare con 32 ???
Se le esigenze sono solo quelle che hai menzionato non ne è proprio il caso basta ed avanza quella che hai il piccolo incremento di velocità su quelle applicazioni non è percettibile.Ma perchè dovrei espanderla ?
Io per parallelismo con il netbook Acer aspire One ( detto «il piccolino» ) mi trovo bene con LXDE

ha ben poco senso usare una chiavetta usb così capiente per metterci una iso per far partire la live. Questo perchè di solito i programmi per mettere l'iso sulla chiavetta formattano prima di tutto la chiavetta per metterci sopra l'iso e perdi tutto quello che vi era nella chiavetta solo per metterci solo pochi Gb della live. Per metterci una live basta una chiavetta da 4 al massimo 8 Gb. Ma non ho idea se vendano ancora chiavette così piccole.Ho qui una chiavetta nuova da 128 Giga e sarebbe il caso di inaugurarla.
