help per installare pyload

Salve,
probabilmente la vecchiaia mi gioca un brutto scherzo ma mi serve un aiuto

ho provato ad installare pyload
dal sito ho preso il .deb (pyload5.20) e ho installato con gdebi che mi ha fatto partire anche un lungo setup

mi è apparsa l'icona sul menu ma se clicco appare per un attimo una finestra vuota che poi scompare

se utilizzo il comando del lanciatore da terminale

Ovviamente non può accedere a questa cartella ma non mi sembra che si deve usare da root.

Non menziona una cartella ~/.pyload.

sì era parso anche a me che ci fosse qualche problema di privilegi .. ma non ha mai funzionato
ho solo installato da gdebi

quella cartella non l'ho trovata

se do un semplice pyload risponde

Comando «pyload» non trovato, si intendeva forse:
  comando «pmload» da deb pmtools
Provare: sudo apt install <nome deb>
