Confermo la mia teoria che sia la scheda WiFi, ho trovato un cavo Ethernet, l'ho collegato ed ho scaricato la ISO si Windows senza problemi, per sicurezza quando ha finito ho riprovato tramite WiFi e circa 20/30 secondi si è bloccato.

Ho continuato a vedere video e a scaricare in simultanea, ha toccato i 95° la CPU,il "soc_dts0-virtual-0" i 90, e la ventola andava oltre i 4000, ma stranamente non si è bloccato, mentre l'altro ieri facendo le stesse cose si bloccava...
EDIT II
Ho parlato troppo presto, ho riavviato il PC perchè ha istallato degli aggiornamenti, 2 minuti dopo il riavvio si è bloccato di nuovo ed avevo aperto solo chrome.

Modifica la data qualche minuto prima dei blocchi per vedere che messaggi ti da il sistema.

Il grassetto significa che hai la cpu che va a fuoco dopo un tot, e quindi il PC per autoproteggersi si spegne.Core 0: +41.0°C (high = +105.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)
Presumo avrai da aprire il PC (o farlo aprire) e sostituire la pasta termica, disostruire eventuali grumi di polvere che bloccano il passaggio di aria, etc.

Il problema e che lo usavo solo per navigazione e non andava comunque. Il problema al 99% è la scheda wireless, visto che con il cavo non dava nessun problema.
Dubito che Gnome è più pesante di Windows 10 e li funziona tutto.
Vorrei provare qualche altra distro di linux, avete consigli? Che magari il problema è soli di Ubuntu

Sul toshiba datato in firma con windows e word non sento quasi mai le ventole girare con ubuntu 18.04 e LO sono sempre in funzione e spesso anche al massimo dei giri.
Anche sul Pavilion con windows ho temperature intorno ai 45-50 gradi C° con Ubuntu Studio le temperature a volte superano i 60° e se sta processando un video raggiunge spesso gli 80* con ventola a tutta birra con Openshot che su windows non arriva a 60°
Ma chiaramente i valori che ti da quel sensore sono falsi abnormemente assurdi ma se è quello sotto il processore non si può sostituire.
