Ubuntu 20.04 fa bloccare il PC

Salve, sabato scorso sfortunatamente ho deciso di abbandonare Windows per sempre e passare a Ubuntu che è nettamente più veloce, ma fa bloccare il mio portatile in continuazione, penso che lo faccia surriscaldare e poi si blocca tutto con la schermata che ho in quel momento, la musica riproduce in loop l'ultimo mezzo secondo, l'unica è spegnerlo dal tasto. L'ho aperto e pulito come meglio potevo, lunedì mi arriva una bomboletta d'aria compressa, ma non è cambiato niente, ho notato che lo fa principalmente quando vedo video in alta definizione o scarico, perciò penso che sia la scheda wifi, ma devo provare con il cavo per vedere se fa lo stesso problema. Su Windows questa cosa non succedeva o meglio, succedeva, ma poi si è sistemata da sola o comunque, non lo faceva cosi spesso quando lo faceva. Avete consigli? Anche perché non riesco nemmeno a scaricare la ISO di Windows per tornare indietro....

Si, accende la ventola, si, ne ha una sola, si sente ad orecchio, ma avvolte si blocca anche quando sta girando più lentamente.

Confermo la mia teoria che sia la scheda WiFi, ho trovato un cavo Ethernet, l'ho collegato ed ho scaricato la ISO si Windows senza problemi, per sicurezza quando ha finito ho riprovato tramite WiFi e circa 20/30 secondi si è bloccato.

Su "Driver aggiuntivi" (da gestione software e aggiornamenti) ti consiglia qualche altro driver, per il wifi?
Sui processori Atom mi pare che di questi problemi se ne riscontrino diversi..
Al momento quale esatto driver sta utilizzando per il wifi?

Mi consiglia per la scheda wifi l'uso delle sorgenti del driver Wireless Linux STA Broadcom 80.11 da bcmwl-kernel-source(proprietario)

EDIT
Ho continuato a vedere video e a scaricare in simultanea, ha toccato i 95° la CPU,il "soc_dts0-virtual-0" i 90, e la ventola andava oltre i 4000, ma stranamente non si è bloccato, mentre l'altro ieri facendo le stesse cose si bloccava...

EDIT II
Ho parlato troppo presto, ho riavviato il PC perchè ha istallato degli aggiornamenti, 2 minuti dopo il riavvio si è bloccato di nuovo ed avevo aperto solo chrome.

Penso che quattro casi bastano per fare dei confronti, comunque lo fa meno volte rispetto ai giorni scorsi.

Ma nessuno si è accorto che:

Core 0: +41.0°C (high = +105.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)

Il grassetto significa che hai la cpu che va a fuoco dopo un tot, e quindi il PC per autoproteggersi si spegne.

Presumo avrai da aprire il PC (o farlo aprire) e sostituire la pasta termica, disostruire eventuali grumi di polvere che bloccano il passaggio di aria, etc.

Per applicazioni quotidiane come Internet o Office la N3540 va bene, ma non per i software molto complessi e per i giochi attuali.Forse che Gnome è troppo pesante?

Il problema e che lo usavo solo per navigazione e non andava comunque. Il problema al 99% è la scheda wireless, visto che con il cavo non dava nessun problema.
Dubito che Gnome è più pesante di Windows 10 e li funziona tutto.

Vorrei provare qualche altra distro di linux, avete consigli? Che magari il problema è soli di Ubuntu

In memoria Ubuntu tiene in ram leggermente meno spazio di windows 7-10% con firefox e tre pagine aperte, ma è un dato di fatto che ad esempio con solo vlc aperto ed un filmato le temperature sono il 15% più elevate che non con windows nella stessa funzione.
Sul toshiba datato in firma con windows e word non sento quasi mai le ventole girare con ubuntu 18.04 e LO sono sempre in funzione e spesso anche al massimo dei giri.
Anche sul Pavilion con windows ho temperature intorno ai 45-50 gradi C° con Ubuntu Studio le temperature a volte superano i 60° e se sta processando un video raggiunge spesso gli 80* con ventola a tutta birra con Openshot che su windows non arriva a 60°
Ma chiaramente i valori che ti da quel sensore sono falsi abnormemente assurdi ma se è quello sotto il processore non si può sostituire.

Non e' che tra l'installazione, ed il comando "sensors", avrebbe dovuto dare

Il terminale richiede se si voglia cercare differenti tipi di sensori, avvisando quando quella operazione e' sicura, e quando lo e' meno...

Imho se il problema persiste faresti prima a prendere una usb-wifi supportata meglio, con 5/10 euro.
