Stampa HJP Officejet pro 6960 non riconosciuta

Anche se l'argomento è stato affrontato, riguardava modelli di stampanti HP e versioni di Ubuntu precedenti a quella che ho installato da recente: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS Ho provato ad installare hplip, ma risulta già installato:

hplip è già alla versione più recente (3.20.3+dfsg0-2).
È stato impostato hplip per l'installazione manuale.

Non so come procedere, non funziona ne la stampa nè la scansione.
Mi potreste aiutare?

Sul 20.04 hplip è preinstallato ma funziona male; hplip comprende tanti comandi che potresti provare:

poi prova a fare scan con

vedi anche se

scanimage -L

trova lo scanner (scanimage è un comando nativo di linux)

Puoi anche provare a installare la interfaccia grafica di hplip

che (a volte) aiuta

edit: può anche servire il gruppo lp:

Ho provato tutti i comandi che mi hai suggerito, ma non funziona nè la funzione di stampa, nè quello di scannerizzazione.
Ho rieseguito hp-doctor che mi permetto di sottoporti, nella speranza che mi possa aiutare ad uscire dallo stallo:

Come vedi hp-doctor crede che la stampante sia spenta o scollegata. Sembra un problema comune a varie stampanti HP con Ubuntu 2.04 (e 21.04)

... e confessa di essere incapace di funzionare in 20.04
