[Risolto] Problema con hplip e Multifunzione HP

Salve a tutti.
Ho un problema ad installare i plugin per la scansione della stampante HP Laser Jet Pro MFP m28a.
Ho seguito alcune guide sul forum, in particolare la seguente discussione:

Premetto che la stampante funziona perfettamente, è lo scanner che, pur venendo riconosciuto, appena parte il programma XSane, mi dice che deve essere installato un plugin mancante.
La versione di hplip installata è l'ultima disponibile sul sito ufficiale della HP, ovvero la 3.23.5
Il sistema installato sul pc in cui vorrei far funzionare lo scanner è Ubuntu Mate 22.10

Il problema su cui mi sono incagliato è il seguente: quando digito il seguate comando:

il risultato da terminale è che sembra non riuscire a collegarsi al server per scaricare il plugin dello scanner

In attesa di qualche consiglio provo a postare i risultati di alcuni comandi proposti in un'altra discussione che riguarda, come nel mio caso, una multifunzione HP con scanner HP non funzionante.

Prona a scaricare i plugin da qui e installarli con l'opzione "p" specificando ilp ercorso del file. Per scaricare i plugin -> https://www.openprinting.org/download/p ... P/plugins/ - il file da scaricare deve essere quello relativo alla versione di hplip che hai installato con estensione .run, per sicurezza scarica anche quello con erstensione .asc.

Intanto grazie mille per il consiglio. Era una procedura che avevo già provato e per sicurezza ho riprovato di nuovo.
Per scaricare i file ho copiato e incollato il contenuto degli script in due nuovi file di testo creati sul desktop (hplip-3.23.5-plugin.run e hplip-3.23.5-plugin.run.asc) e gli ho dato permessi di esecuzione con "chmod u+x".
Purtroppo nemmeno questa procedura va a buon fine. Ti posto il risultato:

Anche questa opzione l'avevo già provata. Per scrupolo ho riprovato a lanciare simple-scan da terminale ma non funziona.

Se proseguo nel tentativo di installare il plugin, il problema è il medesimo esposto a inizio discussione: non installa il plugin, sia specificando un percorso locale, che scegliendo l'opzione download da server.

Appena installata la Ubuntu Mate 22.04 LTS tutto funziona a meraviglia: sia stampante che scanner.
