Ho installato beryl su ubuntu feisty tramite questa guida

beryl funziona,l'unica cosa che non ha funzionato nella guida
è che quando ho dato il comando:

gnome-session-properties

per non far partire beryl in autostart
beryl-manager nella lista non c'èra ho dovuto installarlo
dai repo.
E l'unico problema che ho quando apro la finestra di configurazione
di beryl manager ogni tanto mi appare questo vedere screen
però se chiudo continua a funzionare non è che beryl va in crash
o per caso sbagliato ad installare beryl manager dai repo?
Poi ho visto tramite synaptic che ci sono altri pacchetti beryl, ma vanno installati?

Lancia beryl-manager dal terminale e vedi che errore da quando va in crash.

Se lancio beryl-manager  da terminale oppure da
applicazioni>risorse di sistema non va in crash.
E' quando dal menù di beryl lancio "configuratore beryl"
che a volte appare quell'errore sopra descritto con screen.
M, come ho detto, anche quando appare quella finestra beryl
continua a funzionare.

Già.... ma se lo lanci da terminale e poi scegli "configuratore beryl" magari quando va in crash ti dà qualche informazione in più. Così è difficile capire.

No, purtroppo, come informazione da solo quello che vedete
nello screen del primo post, chiusura inattesa di..ecc...
ma il cubo, gli effetti continuano a funzionare.....
a proposito,visto che stiamo in tema beryl,
se al ad ogni faccia del cubo volessi avere uno sfondo
diverso c'è qualche plugins da installare oppure.....

Ho una nvidia 6200, prova ad aggiungere le righe che non hai...

a xorg.conf non ho ancora aggiunto nulla,perchè
ho provato a riaprire il configuratore beryl e non mi
da nessun errore!!!!ora lo terrò sotto controllo
poi farò sapre.

Mi potresti dire visto che stiamo in tema beryl,
se al ad ogni faccia del cubo volessi mettere uno sfondo
diverso c'è qualche plugins da installare oppure.....

Che io sappia, no. Se sai qualcosa posta, ma non credo sia possibile...
