[Driver] Ati Radeon 9550. I driver non si salvano

Io ho un Athlon64 con su ubuntu 64 bit su un HD esterno.
Semplicemente faccio tutte le impostazioni dei driver ati e mi va tutto. Al primo avvio successivo però è tutto disattivato. Come mai? da cosa può dipendere?

Cioè??? Sono un neofita...sono ancora al livello "copia e incolla"....

Non ricordo il nome del modulo dei driver proprietari, dovrebbe essere fglrx, apri il file /etc/modules da root e ci inserisci il modulo, ad esempio:

ah ma quello l'ho già fatto.
Il problema è propio una perdita di qualcosa quando spengo il pc.
Tipo:
Se faccio andare il 3d e RIAVVIO non m da problemi. Al riavvio tutto è come prima.
Ma se SPENGO il pc e poi l'accendo non va + nulla e devo fare tutto d'accapo.
Ci sarà qlc che non va no? Impossibile le configurazioni non si salvano!!!

Strano, prova a guardare nei log di sistema, quello di xorg e quello del kernel, puoi usare il registro di sistema per visualizzarli, si trovano nella cartella /var/log, i log sono kern.log e xorg.0.log.

DEvi cercare di capire te, al massimo postali pure qui, ma fa attenzione a cosa riporti.

Ma in questi file vedo i log della sessione attuale o degli ultimi giorni?
